Scout's notes on Nassau

Short port days

Downtown is walkable straight from the pier. Paradise Island beaches are a short water taxi or drive across the bridge, which makes them a good fit for limited time.

Long port days

Boat trips to nearby cays and islands, snorkel and sailing tours, and full beach days all fit comfortably on a typical Nassau stop.

Getting back on time

Because the pier is downtown, timing is rarely tight here. The main thing to watch is the boat schedule on any island trip, since you can't leave early if the boat doesn't.
